In other words, TB academy is not "the investment", its my "investment focus", if you use it right you will surely cover maintenance fees, some profit from players and maybe some really good players, you need to have some luck too.

and another important point, dont promote too much players without getting their report first. So its between u spent money to get instant report, or wait until the report finish. well, this is only my hypothesis after all, since I never get good enough players when I try to promote players early (the best was x/6/5 some years ago with G academy). after I chose to wait report, I got some LA 6-7 with G academy, and even got 2 LA 8 2 season ago and 3-5 LA 7 in a season with VG academy. I'll wait (too) for this season report for my TB academy, just hope my 10M investment will produce some great players

Mmmm... My friend from Portguese league, last season pulled out 3 LA10 players. Of course he was pulling into Academy each week three players...so part it is just lucky and part it is statistics (and G's)...

I have the feeling that academy youth are younger, could it be true? Today i added another 2 extra youth to my academy, and again, they are younger than 17 years old!
Since the season started, i had 13 youth players in total (8 basic, 5 extra), only 3 of them were 17 years old, the others are younger, so after pulling 5 players, i still can pull another 2... I have 8 players in academy now and i after pulling the remaining 2 i will have 6 players with report at hand, ready to be promoted next season.
I always invest some money in extra youth, but having so many 15/16 years old youth never happened to me before, how about you guys?

Well my original 8 were: 3 x 18 yr olds, 4x 17 yr olds and 1 x 16 yr old
my extras so far are 1 x 17 yr old and 2 x 16 yr olds

Nope, reports are inacurate, no matter how good your scout is.

Wow Lordaust!!!! My Best level academy gave this season at least 5 LA6-7 players... i fired them all....
i got also 2 3/9/3 ---> to the transfer market and selling them for just 1M

the kast player is a 15y GK LA5-6 ....

Bad luck this season, hope next season it will be better!

I've had similar players of LA 5, 6 or 7 from my 'Best' academy since I upgraded. I've also had far too many DC's and MC's.

Well, for 6 million/season I'd guess you can get 4 LA8-10 players, or 2 LA9-13 players per season from youth camps, depending on whether you put the money into one or two youth camps. This is in addition to whatever your academy yields.

For me, these options will yield about the same number of LA9+ players (on average) per season. However, if obtaining LA11+ players is your priority, the youth camp option is clearly the better choice since I don't believe these come from academies.

Hi Brian, just to let you know: you are not correct in this statement. for example, there are 5 English players with LA>10 (2x LA12 and 3 x LA11) and all 5 came from Academies.

I don't agree if YC are better. I don't know any player from it who reached CA 10!

yes there are lots of players who have reached ca 10 from YC . example- Adair Merricks (7105045) 10/10/4 , Enrique Puig (6722189) near ca 11 , etc ., but my opinion is that YC are more surely that you'll get player la 10 or more , but it has only ca 1  and that is very hard work to train him for 4 or 5 seasons , it takes long time to reach his La  , so academy is way better  if you have luck .

It is hard now to get help from NT for 1/10/4 cause all human teams have a lot better youth for training. More LA 10 at the most condition aren't enough to strengthen NT so 1/10/4 LA for u21 can't be useful either (cause of slow and long training).

I was training this last two seasons, so I was trying. I sold many LA10 from YC, and LA9,he stay with me because of position DMC. When I begun to buy nobody wanted to sell LA10, they were so strange in market. Now all people have LA10, so in market you can buy them.

I have v.good academy I spent 15k per week of maintainance costs academy ain't worth that money.
maintainance  15000*4(week)*5(m/SS) =300,000
Now best player i got in v good academy 7/4 ,Can sell around 200k
