I would be satisfied with those pulls, considering the standards. Look around and you ll see people getting much worse players with Best and VG academy, and probability difference of getting TOP talent between VG and Best is not that high really, no matter the costs for building Best academy.

Thats why I stick with VG although I did have money to build the Best one...

Game simply forces you to buy tokens and you cant expect Top talents from Best Academy without tokens.

I dont want to pay

While it is true that the probability of getting LA8+ players is fairly similar between VG and TB academies (based on some old data admin gave us), I think the probability of getting youths with LA10+ and PR5+ is much higher with TB academy. You can get some excellent players from VG academy, but I wouldn't [EDIT] generally [EDIT] call them "TOP talent" (globally) thought they may be top talents for your nation.

You can get top talents without tokens. It just takes some patience. This season I won't be promoting players from my academy until their reports arrive.

Having said that, there is one thing that should change IMHO:

1) the time for player reports should be based on scout analysis skill level. Level 5 should take 1-2 weeks at most
2) the accuracy of player reports should be based on scout judge player skill level. Level 5 should produce reports that are almost perfectly accurate.

I haven't seen PR2 players pulled from TB academy, coincidence? In high LA players, a PR2 player is a waste, a PR3 is a tough project but it has far more future IMO.

It's all about probabilities, the best argentinian pulled this season is a 2/12/4 player pulled from very good academy.

Yes, shortening the report time would be an excellent idea!

You can wait for 2 months but if you dont get good players you ll have to pay for another ones and wait again for 2 months.. Thats 4 months or bacically a season. You are missing one entire season of training and if he was younger then 18 you missed a nice training bonus

Say that you get 19y 3 / 10 /3 player, that will be at the season end so you can already make it a 20y old.

He ll never reach that LA10

Well, it might be a waste of time, but i think it's a lot better than pulling a 3/6/4 player blindly..... That player won't reach CA10 either.

I can't train more players, so i decided to pull the remaining 3:

GK 2/7/4
DL 3/6/4
FC 4/6/3

I still have 3 more players in academy, all of them will be available to pull next season, i will decide what to do with them when i can see their reports.

BTW +1 to Brian's suggestion.

Agree wit you Carlos. Is always better to wait for better players.

But some things I have to say.
300 k or tokens for new youth is high price cause this season from best academies come players wit La 4 even!! It was very rare now is LA 4-5 is very common. La 6 is worth about 200 k and La 7 about 400-500. So possibility to cash back is not so good.
We need to realize that good times are gone. Now academies give only chance for good player in the future not concrete like it was.

PS. at some level even LA 10 means not so much. I can not train Ca 2 or 3 players with descent effective. So I am going to sell 3/10/5 I got this season. Now I have to buy players with Ca 6+

My bad, the keeper i pulled is LA7, not 4 (crappy notebook without a num pad). Not so bad actually.

The million dollar question is: are token youth better than 300k youth? Token users are having lots of "luck" recently....

You guys are lucky on getting GKs at least. I've never received one ever since I started and this season is no exception.
I didn't expect much and didn't get much. Good academy - 1 ML 1/7/3. Worst part is all the listed players were between 3 positions only..
