Let me just say that some of these suggestions are so unfair that it makes the current use of Mots seem less a problem. In my opinion, the only reason for Mots is to allow managers who aren't doing a good job at managing to have some chance at winning so they don't want to just give up. The only fair solution is to eliminate them all together, but I can hear the tears of managers now. For many managers, without Mots, their teams mean nothing.
Until admin. decides that this game is about management alone, Mots will continue to be a problem for managers who are doing things right and always a blessing for managers who haven't done as good a job at leading their teams.

For the record, I suggested counting the number of days, not times, a manager logs in. It wouldn't matter how many times you log in in a given day, once or a hundred times, it would count as just one "login-day". The point was to take mots away from inactive managers and farm clubs only.

Furthermore, only managers with top teams really complain about mots, so they must be good. If only the top 1% hate them, then keep them by all means!

ok, Carlos, understood. however, having to log in almost daily it used to be impossible to me. i used to work abroad, in a conflict area, for about 5 years. pretty often, a soldier from the base complex was getting killed and immediately communication blackout was in effect, lasting a few days. not having a chance to change tactics was enough of a punishment, losing mots because of this situation would have been too much.
but this was about me and me only, i guess not many users work abroad having trouble logging in. still, there are many of us having families and work that sometimes takes so much time and energy that we simply don´t feel like logging in. we don´t need to be forced to log in, even if it only takes a few minutes to start the computer, a browser and log in and out. we don´t need another thing to worry about in our lives. we want to enjoy this game, not to see it as burden.

keep the mots, and if you have to modify it, make it depend of team facilities and/or coaches or the kind of league you are in.

I have a different idea, althought current system with MOTS don't really bother me too much.

Every team should have team morale (or any other name). In the beginning of the season it would be normal, let's say 4 (on scale 1-7). So when a team plays low importance match he would become one point of morale and if the team plays high importance it loses one point. Affect on the result would have both importance of match and current state of team morale.

This way teams could play more 'MOTS', but would sometimes have to risk playing 'the opposite of MOTS' - low importance. It would give interesting tactical choices. And i think it's far more real. In reality there are always clubs against which worse teams are playing match of the season, as they can't lose anything. Surprises aren't so rarely. But then they lose next 3-4 matches against their real opponents.

Anyway I guess it should be more definied what a MOTS is.
How it affect the team performace? It seems a bit obscure to me.

I agree... We need to know more about Mots. If we must face Mots, we should have a better idea of what it is we will be facing when another team uses mots. I think this information has value to managers.

I am afraid that there's no official info about MotS, only speculations.

Based on some manager's calculation, it seems that MotS increases all individual/team levels a 13%. In other words, if your team level is 600, playing MotS you would be playing level 678, if your UZM level is 62, playing MotS it would be 70,06.

The increase doesn't seem that high in tactical terms, but in individual level things are serious. An average player might increase a low dribbling skill (let's say 50) up 56,5. It's an interesting number indeed!
An average keeper could increase his GKS 55 up to 62,15. Some NT keepers aren't that skilled...
