"Potential ability" and "progress rate" are hidden attributes. You have to use your scout to estimate these values. If the ability of a player reaches his potential ability, training will have small effect in improvement. Progress rate dictates how fast a player can improve his attributes.

It's not a bug. It's just what admin have written.
However, your player can still improve but slowly.

well, they were improving pretty well before last player value update.players hasn't reached max potential so there must be reason why they stoped training, ill check if their value is growing tho.

I think that the changes have caused a lot of players to get to overnight:

-  When the 'current ability' of a player reaches his 'limited ability', training will have no effect in improvement.

We've changed the engine introducing "current ability" and "limited ability".
That's why some player reaches their maximum potential. It affects all players.

They are probably your best players because they have reached their Potential Ability - they are as good as they are going to get! I would suggest that you either keep them, and take a coach off of them to train someone else, or sell them.
