The rules
- Easy tackling only! Using default tackling will give a "yellow card" warning; do this a 2nd time during the duration of the league and a 2nd such warning will be issued, and a 1 goal penalty will be assessed in the match. If "hard" tackling is used, it counts as a "Straight red card" and the 1 goal penalty. If a second "red card" (or 2 "yellow cards") is received during the tournament, it amounts to a 2 goal penalty and so on.
- No more than 2 players aged 22 or more may start a match. A 3rd overage player may be subbed on at or after halftime (45') but no more than 3 may play in a match at any given time*. The first additional overage player that is used will result in a 1 goal penalty** and a warning; use of more than that will result in a 2 goal penalty OR the number of goals to force a loss, whichever is smaller and a "red card" unless the team lost the match anyway, in which case only a yellow card will be issued. You are responsible for checking your opponent's lineup. Report infractions by posting in this thread.
- Matches are held in the larger stadium of the two competitors. If there is no difference in stadium size, then the one with higher quality gets the match. if the stadiums are the same size and quality, then it will be randomly assigned. If a match is played in the smaller stadium due to error, a "yellow card" warning will be issued.
- If you accept a friendly match with a club other than your assigned competitor, or fail to arrange/accept a friendly invitation, then it counts as a forfeit (loss) with a 3 goal penalty**, and a "red card" issued to the team failing to arrange the match in a timely manner. Teams can accept the forfeit anytime after 03:00 UTC on the Sunday before the Monday friendly match by posting their situation in the thread so they may arrange an alternate friendly match, so make your friendly arrangements EARLY.
-Accumulating 2 "red cards" or 5 "yellow cards" through the duration of a minileague will result in responsible club being DISQUALIFIED and not being approved for friendly tournaments/minileagues for the following 2 seasons.

* automatic substitutions made due to injury do NOT count toward this; overage players may be substituted for overage players.
** goal penalties are accrued to goals scored tally as negative goals (goals are not awarded to opponent for YC infractions while 1 goal is awarded for RC infractions), which may result in a negative GS

Sorry but Penguin failed to arrange 2 out of 4 matches in our recent friendly tournament, and is thus ineligible to join this season. You must understand that we can't have teams that consistently miss arranging their matches. Try again next season, okay?

The minileague is designed to work around other competitions; you and I do not have a scheduled matches on the 17th
 ;)
some matches in late rounds may also need to be postponed if there are conflicts with national cup matches...

Updated schedule
1) SWAGGA FC manager has some sort of bug that is affecting his tactical controls temporarily; SWAGGA FC v ROCKERS FC match postponed until end
2) Mean Machine, Gonococo, and Don-muang all have friendly cup matches this week. Their (and their opponents') first mini-league matches will be on 24 Dec.

Edit: SWAGGA FC v ROCKERS FC will take place as originally scheduled

***UPDATED***

It seems Vorclinex and Nuna were confused about when the league was to start, so their match has been postponed until 18 Feb. Errors like this will not be rescheduled in the future! Please be sure to report any failure to arrange a friendly as soon as possible after 03:00 UTC the day before the scheduled friendly! Thanks!

It was brought to my attention that some teams were double-booked (had two opponents) for some weeks. I have fixed this error, which was due to some teams not playing the first game week. The schedule has changed, so double check it before confirming friendly matches! Note that all teams now have one week off. Sorry for any inconvenience. If fixtures have already be arranged, please post here or contact me ASAP so the schedule can be amended.

Yellow Card: SWAGGA FC

Friend of mine next week janueary 14 the cup begin in my country, so I don't know what to do cause I can't arrange friendly match :(  :-\

I knew this would happen...also everyone else has their first cup matches 28 January, so there will be no mini-league matches at all on that date. Thus I have postponed these known matches until March. However, we can't postpone matches indefinitely, so any matches that cannot be made up by 11 March will have to be cancelled. However, I will do my best to schedule matches in February among teams that have been knocked out of their respective cup.

No warnings issued!  :)

Remember - upcoming matches will be the last regularly scheduled of the season's mini-league. Teams who are knocked out of their cup competitions will be matched up where possible on a weekly basis, giving these teams a good chance to move up the mini-league rankings!
