Interesting idea but all we need is an image spot for stadium that we can either make an image like in original post or just use an image of an existing stadium. I'd rather see a feature where we can customize our pitch size with tactical effects.
Something like:
Long Pitch: Favourable to direct play, best played with fast strikers and defenders as there will be a lot of space. May need good TM too. (Lower Leagues)
Long Wide: Direct Wing Play, again favourable to fast strikers and good crossers.
Standard: Mixed play with players used to playing both ways.
Short and Narrow: Arsenal type play, good movement needed.
Short Wide: Again quick with movement but wider play.
