On the one hand (let's say it's my right hand), this idea appeals to me.
A big league like England's league always has a lot of candidates putting themselves forward for the NT role. It's at the point where, although I would like to be England's NT manager, I don't bother putting myself forward.
I want to try out being a NT manager, but I don't think I could get the England job. You raise a good point about a so-called 'national' getting the role. I'm not even sure if England's manager (who hasn't been seen for three fecking months now), is actually English.
On the other hand (my left hand), I'm not sure how we could get that to work.
How would the voting system work? If someone applies to be a NT manager for a country without a single native manager, would they just have to apply before a deadline? Would everyone be able to vote for any country's manager?
