As it stands, we have to choose whether the whole team either drills or floats crosses. This makes no sense to me. As manger, wouldn't you want each player doing whichever suited them best? Therefore, I think this option should be added in the player options window on the tactics page, with "long shots" etc. IMHO adaptation to the team (from the crosser) should have the strongest effect on whether the target anticipates the cross correctly or not. Poorly adapted = small chance and well adapted = good chance. What do you think?
If you want another tactical option for the whole team, maybe there could be the option of taking set pieces beyond 35 yards quickly whenever possible vs allowing everyone to set up for the kick. For the quick option, speed/stamina and decisions/off the ball stats of attacking players and the setpiece, teamwork, and speed/stamina stats of the kicker, with equivalent stats involved for the defense. For the slow option, speed/stamina, teamwork, and decisions would be de-emphasized, more like setpieces work now.
