Malta reached world cup finals,

it is a very big achievement, for tiny MALTA, and we are also the first in the group.

Congratulations for Stefan and the whole maltese community, this proves that even a small country can grow if their managers are commited to their country's development.

thanks for your comments, i began the project 4 seasons ago, when the developers gave us the national team.

i began with young players who had very good LIMITED ABILITY 8,9 or 10, and i helped them reaching them. i played them even when they were CA4/5. from the begining I always stated with my MALTESE friends that we need time and after 4 seasons or 6 seasons may be we would have a good strong team.

I focused on a group of players, and finally we succeded.

this campaign will be the last for me as the national coach , now i will give chance to another new MALTESE MANAGER. i achived my aim not to qualify for the world cup this was a bonus, but my main aim was to build a string team, which every other nation would respect us.

The good job always has his result. Maybe this success could be the others hopeful. I hope other countries can see in your case the way and begin to do the job needed in NT in that countries.

We discuss every national game apart the league games of our championship. We discuss every tactic and study every opposotion. I think this highlights the strong communities that can be forged when small nations finally receive NT managers...let's give them to more nations!

Actually. This thread also proves that communities can grow if their managers work for it.
I remember when Stefan's community was so small that his NT was bot and league prizes were low. Stefan asked for better conditions and he were requested to bring more people to the game. Stegan did it, Maltese league grew, now they have promotions and relegations, same prizes than bigger countries and a NT participating in a World Cup, so as i said earlier, congratulations for Stefan and the whole maltese community, they are the proof that communities can grow, if their members do something different than just complain.

also my team STEFAN ELEVEN FC reached the champions world cup group, and finished second and was eliminated in the knockout stages. i think next season MALTA will have 2 spots in the world champions cup

Actually next season you will have only 1 spot again . I believe if you had won that knockout match , you could have 2 spots (only 4 points difference) .

but their are still the points gained in season 7, son n the begining of next season the points achieved in season 7 qill disappear i think., and remain only the points gained from seasons 8,9,10,11 and 12

Yes thats right . But unfortunately although you might be few places UP when new season start , qualified teams are taken from this season ranking !

he is still young and there are better than him at under 21 level at the moment for sure. check these two players

our next under 21 will be a very good team since there are 5 players who are in the first elven of the first squad the one that qualified in the world cup.
