first of all invest in your stadium, build 5.000-10.000 more seats it will give you bigger profit for games at home.

Agree, stadium capacity is number one source of money. But there is a risk of losing money if you are not able to fill it's capacity on home matches. So be aware of that.

Other ways to achieve money is by:

Opening a booth to sell souvenirs through the Club Activities, although it means to log in every hour to click a button.
Sell players. Can be your best players or youth players. You can buy tokens and get more players form the Academy in order to sell them.
Purchase a Premium Account and play those Custom Cups that are available from time to time (I believe you need to pay a fee to be able to play in these Custom Cups though).
Increase the level of your Hotel, Bar, Mega Store, but you need money to invest to do so.
Cut your costs: do you really need to have 4 coaches? I would get rid of Hairun Wasistho, his numbers don't look that good.

Anybody else have any ideas?

I think good idea but premium too expensive for someone, like south asian countries

to enter custum cup, there are some of them free, but from custum cup matches you only earn like normal friendlies on Monday.

The best way to make money is to not spend money unnecessarily. Spending money on over priced players or on activities like a youth camp is not a good start. Work on facilities as well as the seat capacity keeping in mind that this can cause you to loose money if you don't manage the amount of seats carefully.
Buy low priced players with potential and then train them well. Some of these players may make you a profit when you resell them. To do this, you will need to make sure you buy good players with good potential first at low prices. In this way, you can resell the players at a lower price and beat the inflated market while also capturing a good profit margin.
Money is hard so you need to manage it well. Don't look back on wasted funds. Make keen decisions with your coin and it will grow.

I agree with your comment about not spending money unnecessarily. However, I have a question on your second suggestion:

How can you identify a good player with a good potential? Do you really need to upgrade your scout?

I recently bought a 16 yr MC that had been recently promoted from its Academy (Level "The Best"). I thought it was a good investment, thinking I could train him to my will, but to my surprise, he had already reached his LA. So there is no much room for improvement, even for such a young player. My scout reported a possible CA 6-8.

Any thoughts? Was it just bad luck?

Dont't look at academy level of a player,just focus on his CA,PA,PR. You can always ask owner of a player about that details via massage,mostly You will get answer.I did ask about 20 times and always get correct (true) answer.

If you want money then max your stadium at max att. of your league plus upgrade your stadium to good level wich will give you possesion and +1 GKO money from each fan. get ride off unusefull players and dont buy young players with potential if you cant develope them. i prefere upgrading academy and getting like 2 young pleyers each season with pretty good pottential, and either training them or selling them, each way you save money by not buying new playrers or by selling those young players you have promoted.
But biggest advice is dont except to get much money or strong team in 1-2 seasons, it takes some time so be patient

I've noticed that the weekly Sponsors income varies depending on the game results you had during the week. Winning a league game increases the sponsor income by X amount, draw is Y, losing is Z, a friendly is W (no matter if you lose, draw or win it seems to be the same). Cup games are valued just as league games (XYZ).

So if you had a friendly and won two league games during a week, your sponsor fee would increase by something like this: (W + X + X)

Does anybody have an idea on how are these values, XYZW, weighted? Does it depend of:

Stadium Level?
League Position?
Team Rating?
Combination of these and more?

The WEATHER is another factor. Is not the same when it is cloudy or rainly than warm.

Sponsor income is directly related with club rating, which in turn is dependent on match results and club museum quality. The quantity a result (win, draw, or loss) affects club rating is determined by the club museum quality.
