Team's Sitter
« on: June 24, 2011, 02:39:48 PM »
When we are on holiday how can we manage our teams? I propose to allow us to choose a sitter (an other user of GKO) for our teams who will manage it for a determinated time when we can't do it (for examples when we are on holiday).
What do you think?

Have to say, this idea was better. With another human, maybe he gets tempted to sell players, ruin for the team etc.

You have this responsability. You don't have to give your team to an ordinary manager who you don't know, but to a friend manager who you know and of whom you trust.

We're considering this. We think that it is a nice idea
but it is quite complicated to develop and it is not that necessary.

Anyway, I will see what I can do.

... and it is not that necessary.
...

If an user stay away for 15 or 30 days will lose his team! So I think it's very important... I am saying wrong?

I will think about it. Perhaps this feature will be available next season.

I don't agree to have any sitter when you are on your holiday. The club has only one manager and it should be so at all times. I think developers can raise limit of absence with no penalty. Let's say half of the season. Please, do not introduce assistants, sitters or any other help to keep your club running without human hand. The game is suppose to promote logged in players, isn't it?

I agree with Dorbi76. There was huge problem with multiaccounts in this game. I don't know if it  has really solved already. In my point of view permission to give club in another hands is big mistake.

Maybe in your countries, you have access internet from anywhere, but some places may have problems in internet access which i faced this week. I'm a bit lucky that i did not lose any points in league. In one of the management games there is a holiday option(not in football but can be taken as a lead example).

You are selecting a user which is in friend list of yours, giving the time period and invite him for look after their account. If your friend accepts, there will be an option given to control which account. Your friend only will manage tactics. no financial operations allowed(sell-buy-upgrade). And all operations that your friends done will be logged.

I think developers can raise limit of absence with no penalty. Let's say half of the season.
+1

Also if you are saying that, I can understand that you don't have any issue with inactive players.we are already blaming on inactivity. This type of holiday option increases the activity.

Also i'm against BOT-COMPUTER controlled assistants but this type of sitter option may be a good addition.
