Name :     Timoteo Asis (702529)

Attributes
Coaching

Working with Youngsters    6

It is very weak coach for training youth :(
Drawing coach is always lottery :( Building facilities is unfailing :)

I have paid 750k for the Lottery of Skills a Coach brings (and this is one of the biggest failings of the game, imho - along with the lateness of prize money and Youth's being re-set). I have a few that rain Youths at over 30, and on who is unpretty and useless, but I'll stick with him until they let me pick a Coach's best two or three Skills (I got lucky with the last two, but the one who doesn't get to 30 for anything is a pain in the butt!!!) I could do with a 30+ Attack and Defence Coach, but I have no guarantee of getting one.... I have two monster Goalkeeping Coaches, lol.

Should I upgrade the YA (1.5m), Training (1.5m) or Fitness 1.2m)?

Your training facilities and fitness center are good level, i believe they're fine..... you need high PR players ASAP, i would improve youth academy...

@ Carlos were first because i was written to long , lol

If I were you, I would bulit the academy twice or even three times!! From bad to good asap then to very good for 4m. Are you builiding it know? Upgrading from bad to okey costs only 1 m G.

Very good facilities and good coaches are uselles if you havn't got any good youth. From my point of view for top level clubs youngsters worse then 6 in LA are too week . I'm training some 5 in LA only for sale, now. I predict that in next season I have to have all players 6 and more in CA to challenge for silverware in my country. PR is  even more important thing because players with PR4 I am training from 2 to 6 in CA in 2 seasons and with 5 in PR in 1,5 seasons respectively. Better academy better yougsters faster training, all in relationship, it is obvious :)

Apologies, yes only 1m...

I seem to do OK buying in kids, quite cheaply and letting my coaches work on them...

Also not all positions need high numbers in all Skills, so you can get a 5* CF better than a 6*, who has big numbers in Positioning, Tackling, Man Marking etc.........

I agree, (although my 101G 6LA Keeper has stopped benefiting from training as a 5CA, and is only 21).

I have a 5CA forward with Finishing and Off the Ball of 17, lol.

My GK with LA 6 has stopped benefiting from training as a 5CA, too. He is training in matches only.

I heve seen players with LA4 with skills abowe 15 so your forward isn't special :) LA is made from all skils, so good training is very importatnt.

Oh his CA is only 4, and I have another with CA of 3, with 17 and 15 for Finishing and Off the Ball, lol.

I can't seem to sell the latter, though!!!!!!!!!

Keepers's improvement from training stop when they reach CA5, however his match bonus should be normal. Outfield players improves from training until CA reaches 7. Your keeper is okay, don't worry :)

All his GK skills are good, plus a few key others, but it seems daft if he stops at 5, when his Limit is 6..........

(but then the whole game is daft, tbh)

Look at his last match, what was his improvement bonus? Were it 0.03 or were it normal?

You won't get CA6 from a keeper training him, he will stop, and the only way he will keep improving is playing matches, look carefully his match bonus, if his CA is 5, and his LA is 6, his match bonus should be normal, not the minimum match bonus that a player CA=LA or CA>LA receives.

Also consider that GK skills:

Until 13: they improve normally (match bonus should be 0.40, if PR is 5)
Between 13 and 17: they improve 1,5 times slower (match bonus should be around 0.24, if PR is 5)
Between 17 and 20: they improve 3 times slower (match bonus should be around 0.13, if PR is 5)

If you've got a LA8 outfiel player, you'll have the same issue when he reaches CA7.

Are you using "Attack" or specific "Off the ball" schedule?

specific schedule Off the ball

That's the reason, you've got 2 penalties:

* Ability is higher than 15
* Specific training reduces your match bonus 20%. It doesn't matter how good are your training facilities. To get a full bonus, switch between specific and general bonus before the match.

That really is daft. So we have to change Training on Match days, even though we have paid for the Training Facilities.............

If my player is still young (less than 19 years old) i use specific training, i don't care to have my bonus reduced... his skills are limited and i want to decide his trained skills.

If he's older... well, i think about it twice....

Do you still have this issue?

Have you tried to set your training in a different place? A friend had the same issue, and it was because his internet connection was bad.

Else, send them an email with some pics, it might help....

The friend i menctioned was unable to save formations, but he was able to change training.....

Sometimes, internet connections gives you unexpected results.
