Admin, we're about to start a new season, i believe that the game has gained a lot with Match Engine 2.0, it really does, however i think i'm not the only one that feels that some serious issues hasn't been solved and might harm some seriously a lot of things that GKO has already archieved:

There's a lot of unactive users, it's a fact, and they're using places that might have been better used by acctive managers, GKO staff decided that -in order to keep the game fair to those managers that reached there playing from before- it won't change, that bot teams unactive users would be weaken and eventually active managers would fill those places, that's a decision that -even if i don't share- i respect, seriusly, if i reached late it's my fault and i must earn a place there, it's reasonable, however.....

Just looking how it's been done it's clear that the "weakening system" depends of how long time you've been unlogged: 
* If you look argentinian top division (where manager unactivity it's been longer) those teams has suffered a lot, those teams have a couple of great players that kept untouched (most of them are in Argentina National Team) and the rest are really bad players, it's clear that the only active player in that division (and our deserved National Team Manager) will win the league even using subs, that "weakening" is less aggresive in lower divisions, now.......
* Finishing in D Division, the league where we have most active players (National manager election reached 24 votes), face a similar problem than before.... there's a lot of unactive users that registered 2 months ago (or even closer) that logged only twice, and propably -since their teams didn't have a league- they've already quit, but their teams kept untouchedm that gives active players with a new potential problem: The Player Creation Engine....

Some days ago you said that you haven't changed Player Creation Engine since season 2, however creation engine is a serious thing!!!!! Let me put you things in this way:

When i registered (months ago) i received players valued around 320K, 6 or 7 around 250K and the rest were players valued below 200k, i sold some of those expensive players, it's true, but they was players that already reached their LA, so it wasn't room for some seriuos improvement.
Last months Player Creation Engine increased the standard, last teams are receiving 6 or 7 players valued over 400k, something imposible to archieve even with the players that i received and sold later and those teams hasn't been affected by the weakening system, let me show you:

Times Logged: 2 (both times 05/14/2001)
Last Login: 05/14/2011 22:15:35
Stronger players: Tito Villaverde (market value 483.000G), Eladio Abel (market value 478.400G), Manolo San (market value 433.999), Osvaldo Alves (market value 407.333G), Pio Abana (market value 405.999G) and Blas Bosque (market value 404.800G). If that's not enough, that team has 3 more players valued between 300.000G and 400.00G.

Team: Madricelta (ID=106266)
Times Logged: 2 (both times 05/09/2001)
Last Login: 05/09/2011 19:23:00
Stronger players: Xavier Quintana (market value 470.800G), Ubano Guerrero (market value 448.800G), (market value 438.666G), Sonofrio Flores (market value 422.932G), Lalo Jimenez  (market value 421.599G), Fortunato Puig (market value 407.999G) and Aureliano Rojas (maret value 406.600G). Of course, it team has 4 players valued between 300.000G and 400.000G.

Now, don't you think that next season we'll have the same problem? Because i believe it will be really hard to compete against those teams....... and i must ask you this:

If you decided that -in order to keep the game fair to older players that had to work for reaching top divisons- you'll leave league structure as it is.... may i ask where is the fairness in leaving those teams untouched against users registered 3 or 4 months ago with seriously weaker teams? Really, the game is still unbalanced, don't you see that?

PLEASE:

* Weaker ALL unactive teams, not those that hasn't logged for more than 2 months, 1 month unlogged is more than enough to receive that penalty, users that log often are suffering against that!
* And most important, do something with player creation engine, this is going out of control! 2-3 months old managers can't keep the pace against the engine, it's creating teams that can face most managers easily, receive top quality players should be a reward, not something you receive only creating a team, it's really painful see that! It makes you think "why i haven't created a new team yet", "why am i working so hard improving the team i have if i can't face newbies"?

Finally..... i know that i might not have the right to tell you this because this is your game and not mine, so you should decide some thing about it, but if you can accept my humble opinion let me tell you, i feel that the main reason because we have so many teams that logs only once is because the way that activation works is not effective... you should tweak it and give it some spice things..... have you considered placing new teams in a league once registered, and allow them to buy and sell players some time later? If a new manager can at least know when he's going to play his first league match probably will log once again, it would be great to face real teams instead of quitters! Give them a tutorial where they can know the game better, know the great stuff that GKO has to offer, make it more user friendly!
Another interesting extra might be to make team customization a bit easier, you've to search where you can change your team shirt o add your team badge (a badge editor would be great), give it more color! Even a lot of active players hasn't chaged their shit colors or added a badge yet, maybe because they're not interested, but if you make it easier for them.......

Please, i know that such a long topic might sound like a BIG complain, but it's not my intention, what i really mean is that im really exited about the potential that GKO has to offer, and i'd love to see more activity in the game, i believe that making those changes things will get better, please undertand it's not my intention to complain everything you do, i'm trying to make it even better and do my little part to make it more massive, sorry if i offended you or GKO staff, it's not my intention.

By the way, we've already weaken the inactive players.
Players' estimated value don't decrease but their performance decreases in the match.
