Suggestions/Bugs subforum guidelines
« on: May 10, 2013, 06:36:48 PM »
I am trying to clean up the suggestions/bugs subforum. Please try to help by following these guidelines:

1. Limit posts in this subforum to suggestions or bugs. General questions and polls (that do not discuss suggestions or bugs) will be moved to general discussion or need help subforums. Redirect posts will only be made for threads with activity in the past 30 days.
2. In the topic of new threads, please include the word "suggestion" or "[SUG]" for suggestions, and "bug" or [BUG] for bugs. If the topic is missing this, it will be edited to include whichever is appropriate.
3. Please check the subforum thoroughly to see if your topic has already been started. Duplicate topics will be merged into the earliest thread.
4. Finally, please limit new posts to a single suggestion or bug report. If a post has multiple (unrelated) suggestions/bug reports, it is difficult to merge such a topic with duplicates or lock when one or more of them have been resolved. New topics with multiple, unrelated posts will be edited to a single topic; new topics will be split/created from the original. Old topics with multiple suggestions will be edited to minimize the number of topics in the thread; resolved and duplicate topics will be stricken in the original posts.

Topics will be deleted only if the original post is removed or empty. Topics regarding suggestions that have been implemented and bugs that have been resolved will be locked. If an unresolved bug has been locked, please contact me or another moderator via pm or start a new thread and include a link to the locked topic in the original post.

Thanks for your help!  ;)
