My point is that
every move we do in transfer market must have its consequences.... do you believe we can win money everytime we place a player in transfer market?
Sometimes, people lose money too, why whould it be different when we talk about free players? You are proposing that, if you offer 10k as weekly wage (and paid 400k as transfer fee) you still have the chance to sell him at 400k, getting 80% for him, am i wrong? My point is
no. Nobody pushes people to enter in that ridiculous wage war, if somebody hired a player and then it becomes unuseful, i'm sorry but as i said before, nobody pushed him to hire that player in the first place.
Free players were a stupid cheap/low cost bonanza, people used to hire them at 80k, filling chat rooms with that stupid "free player" message and asking 10x that initial investment, now they can't. The current scheme allows managers to fight for a free player only if they think they are worth to improve thir squad's quality, so if you offered a ridiculous high wage and you did wrong, you have the tools to get rid of him. If you set him free, you will need to pay his wage twice, but that burden won't be there anymore.
The only change i would support about free players is that players min wage should reset everytime we place them in transfer market: i have seen a player (est value around 800k) set in transfer market, his asking price were 100g, but his weekly wage were 50k!!!!!
In other words, that used paid 2M G for a player just because he were a free agent and keeping that player in his squad became a huge burden, he had no choice but to wait for somebody else willing to pay 50k as weekly wage again. I can tell you for sure, that user will think twice before trying to get a free player at such a high wage, other users will have more chances to fight a player against him.
To make things easier for him, i would accept if player's weekly wage would be reset at normal value (it should be around 12k) but keeping that 20%. He might be able to get a little more than those 100G and the player might still have chances to find a squad that gives real use to him. But i don't think it would be right if the seller would have the chance to place him at 2M again and he would receive 1.6M for him, that wouldn't be fair to every single manager that wanted that free player in the first place... that's my point.
I will say it again all tho it wont rly matter : All the changes regarding the transfer market screwed the game (mostly wage changes), I lost few players already cause people would rather pay 1 M G signing fee rather than actually giving those money to the club and not putting a huge wage! Its really hard to build a decent team nowadays compared to 2 seasons ago, hardly makes any sense to me.
That's true, wages were the first big error, but not the only problem: all of us knew that inflaction was coming, why the hell we had the chance to receive up to 15 youth players last season and now we can get up to 13? Players number must be reduced, the offer in transfer market is too high to be competitive!
Another problem was to show player level in player search: there are many great players out there, but since player's experience increases player level greatly, people ignores a low exp well trained player because its level is too low, in the meantime an average/high experience CA6 player can be sold at more than 2M just because his level, people ignores many things: their individual skills or if that player fits for their squad's tactics, they only cares about levels! it's ridiculous.....
