I think that it is a not-well-proposed question... i agree with the first answer about the tactics competency of your player. I 'd like to add that any tactics MUST to be evaluated vs a specific opponent tactic. It's the same that if i wonder about the best choice between 3 or 4 defenders. It always depends of your team and your opponent. If you want more possession, of course mid-fielders are better than attacking midfielder. Of course side forwarders can increase your score opportunities, but you can lose possession. When the midfielder line of my opponent is not very strong (compared to the mine, obviously) i can quit a midfielder and add an offensive player with no penalty in possession (because i am going to master the match if my opponent is pretty weaker than my team). Each match should be prepared individually. So it is not a simply question if we are talking about absolute value of midfielders and attackers. There are always pros and cons. this season i thought that a couple of FC won't be as effective as the last years. I tried one FC and one side F...I had to came back to the 2 FC and they are doing maybe better than the last season...
