Unfortunately, reporting the manager to admin only results in the NT losing its (bad) manager to be replaced with a (even worse) bot
The GKO NT manager system and needs attention! Three issues in particular need to be addressed:
1) System for replacing bad and/or banned managers
2) System for hiring managers for small nations with bot managers.
3) Prevention of vote fixing by managers with multi-accounts, premium or not.
Suggestions have been made for all of these in the forum. I hope admin can make them a priority. First, the NT election feature already exists; if admin can remove a manager, they should also be able to call a new election. Second, the oportunity to manage a small foreign NT would be a great incentive for attracting new premium users. The third issue (also brought up by the OP in this thread) would be by far the hardest to implement effectively...
one way it might be accomplished would be to modify the number of votes a manager has in his election by his club rating/1000 (rounded to the nearest whole number). First, newbie managers with club rating < 500 would not get a vote, so
a manager couldn't make several teams just to vote him into the position...newbie managers with fewer than 500 club rating points probably have no businss voting in a NT manager election, anyway. Furthermore,
managers with high club ratings would affect an election disproportionately, which would help ensure the best candidate actually wins even if a cheater manager had created the teams far enough in advance to give them all a vote in the election. For example, in Germany there are currently only 5 (active) clubs with club rating >3000. These 5 clubs would have 29 votes together. Even if these 29 were split between 2 managers, a cheater would need 15-20 bot teams (all created well in advance and still in existence) to be able to alter the election. Not a likely proposition I think.
