Since there are people who like Mots and some people don't like it at all, the best solution should be to implement something in the middle like Andy and some other managers already suggested. It could be a severe penalty to the player; such as lower players' morale, raise chance of injury, fitness reduces by double the amount, etc...

I think Mots should stay, but it should not be in the WCC tournament. This is where the best of the best managers in this game compete and should be a fair game.

look at the team BORUSIA was eliminated from the champions league, because of the MOS, this week, now he placed all his best players for sale !!!

He is Actually in the top spot of Group A. How did he get eliminated?

IMHO, Mots is not the issue here. The issue only occurs when one team is getting Mots multiple times during the season. I believe that Mots add a little twist for the managers' strategy in the game. The use of Mots is up to each managers' discretion.

For an example, look at US top league. The top two teams are Mean Machine and Espada FC (my team). We have been number one and two for several seasons now and I am not sure if that's going to change any time soon, but that is not important here. There are 4 spots for WCC for US. This means that if either Mean Machine or Espada FC also win the US Cup tournament, No. 3 and 4 will get to go to WCC. There are 4-5 teams competing for the two remaining spots. They have to make a choice to either use their Mots against the top two team because their teams are highly likely to lose against them or use them against their rivals for those two spots and hope their rivals also lose to the top two teams. They can also use their Mots in the Cup competition and try to win it. The beauty of it is that no one really know what your opponents are thinking and when they will use the Mots. Even with the Mots, they still may not win the match and sometimes even lose with it.

The top two teams also have their choices when they want to use their Mots. Either we use them against each other, against teams fighting for 3-4 spots, in the Cup, or in WCC. A match between my team and FC Kunu in WCC ended up in the 1-1 tie today because FC Kunu used one of his Mots. I don't know if the result will be difference if he didn't use it, but that's irrelevant. That match will most likely cost me a spot to go through to the next round because I needed to win the remaining  two matches to go through comfortably, but now I will have to wait until next week hoping that I will win against my opponent and the second place lose or tie in his match. Was I disappointed? Of course I am disappointed, but it is my own fault because I decided not to use Mots against FC Kunu.

The point that I am trying to make is that Mots add another strategy for managers to think about, but you can only use it twice in one season. It can either be enjoyable or a disappointment when one uses it or being uses against. At least Mots doesn't guarantee a victory for a team that decide to use it.

I'm not sure about this, but I noticed that some players are more prone to an injury than others. My youth GK have been injured 3 times already during training when others are perfectly fine. I only have one injury in a match so far this season, so I think I am lucky. You might want to observe your players, if that is the case.

Don't shoot me on this  :(

I Apologize if I have forgotten some teams. You are absolutely correct that all the 32 teams can win this tournament. I know I didn't list all 32 countries because that would mean I have to list some bots team too. I just put most of the big countries on the poll. Again, I know I have forgotten some countries. I apologize  :( :(

GKO's Youth World Cup Season 9

Now that the qualifying round is over. We have all the 32 teams who qualified to play in the official GKO's Youth World Cup in season 9. Congratulation to all the qualified countries and managers who have fought a tough battles. Don't get careless just yet. The battle is not over. One may use Germany as a good example that any teams can win in any match. It's the biggest surprise in the qualifying round that Germany failed to advance. In this round, teams will become stronger, players' condition will be nearly perfect, and managers won't have distraction from club matches anymore. Here are the groups, my predictions, and a poll (you can vote for two teams)

Group A: Brazil, Finland, Poland (Youth WC champ S.5), and Switzerland
Prediction: Brazil and Poland will advance to the next round.

Group B: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Paraguay
Prediction: A clear favorite in this group is Bulgaria. It will be a fight between Croatia and Paraguay for the second ticket to advance.

Group C: Belgium (WC runner up S.6), Egypt, Romania, and Spain
Prediction: There is two group of death imho and this group is one of the two. Belgium, Romania, and Spain will have battle it out in this round. It will be interesting to watch who will advance.

Group D: China, Macedonia, Uganda, and United States (WC champ S.6)
Prediction: China and United States are surely a clear favorite in this group.

Group E: Argentina(WC champ S. 4 & 8 ), Serbia, Slovakia, and Vietnam
Prediction: This is a tough group, but not a group of death for me. Argentina is Argentina. They are one of the favorites to win this tournament. They will be hoping that they take home the first youth trophy to add to their already two World cup trophies in their showcase. The other three teams will have to battle it out for the remaining ticket.

Group F: Italy, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, and Thailand (WC runner up S.8 )
Prediction: Italy and Thailand will advance to the next round. These two countries are similar in both WC and Youth WC, they just cannot find a formula to become a champion. We should see if they finally figure out how to take home the trophy in this youth world cup.

Group G: Bosnia and Herzegovina (Youth WC Champ S. 7 and runner up S.5), England, Portugal, and Scotland
Prediction: This is the second group of death for me with the like of Bosnia, England, and Portugal. Somehow Bosnia always find success in the youth tournament, so my money would be on them being one of the team who will advance, but England and Portugal might make a surprise or two.

Group H: Australia, Hungary, Moldova, and Slovenia
Prediction: Moldova and Slovenia

Now it's time for your comment/s and votes for who you think will be the Champion. May luck be with all the countries and managers  8)

Suggestions/Bugs / Re: No more games from the absurd result
« on: November 13, 2013, 02:12:06 PM »
I think there are some randomness in this game, but not always. If you set your tactic correctly, it raises your chance to win, but not a always guarantee. In season 6, USA won the world cup with mostly young players that have less skills and experiences compared to other nations. We won it because I set the suitable tactic for each match to raise my chance to win.

Imho, I think admin is trying to take game money out of the game as much as possible with this system. Now that players know that number one place will get the best players. People will invest a lot of money to get first place. It's not a bad idea.

They closed the server for maintenance, but did not do a darn thing to fix this issue. Seriously?

Admin disappears again. He told us that he would be here more often now? you are losing your creditability and going to lose a lot of players. I am leaning toward quitting this game if this is not getting better after this season end.
