I had to use Chrome yesterday to login.

Almost magically, Firefox worked fine today.

Solved it was a browser issue. Firefox is not working correctly for some reason!

When I tried logging into my account today I'm just getting redirected back to the login page. No popup saying "incorrect username or password" like I get when I enter the wrong information. Anyone else having this problem?

Mihut, this is a counter-attack of the cheaters.  They buy players from clubs who they hate with unreasonable prices so that the club is banned by admin.  Really sneaky.  Be careful all.

I suggest we organize these nationally. with a shared retirement team.
If we want to make it realistic, they should all be in Qatar, China and USA

Using that scoring system, I think 40 is the best among current managers:

Sopelana 3x5+7x2+11=40
Mean Machine 0x5+14x2+12=40

Of corse, WCL wins would be the first tie-breaker 

I won 4 times WCL. So, according to this, I would have 45.

Formula for calculating the most successful clubs in GKO?

I suggest:
WCL = 5 pts
League title = 2 pts
National Cup -= 1 pt

With this scoring system, can any club in a league with normal prizes beat 40 points?

I'd also like to see the best score for clubs in small nations

Managers who pay insane wages for free agents must have some sort of penalty for their decisions - old player with crazy high wage seems reasonable consequence of their actions. Wage limits are probably the last barrier for cheaters.

Cheaters aren't botherd by wage limits! Why worry when they can buy low and sell high to their farm clubs? Cheaters are already doing this anyway. I didn't purchase any of the players on my squad I want to rid myself of as free agents, either. I would be happy exempting players purchased as free agents from this suggestion.

The only thing we need is players with 1 year left of their contacts to be released at the end of the season. Nothing more, nothing less.

Fair enough, fix the bug and I'll withdraw my suggestion

By trying to make "new rules" we are going to make this game even more messy than it is now.

I doubt that is possible.

This suggestion is directed at the GKO community as much as it is at Admin. At this point we basically set the norms of this silly game, if not the rules. It would be great if Admin would address this as well, but I'm not going to hold my breath wating.

We know that old players that have been capped on their NT cannot be released and often cannot be sold on the market even at 100G.

Therefore I sugest that - until this bug were fixed - managers should be allowed to make a "retirement team"...only used to purchase this kind of player. This should not be considered "cheating" as long as the transferred player is age 31 or over, has NT caps, and is sold for 100G on the market, and the retirement team is not used or played otherwise. I know this practice is widespread anyway, I just think it should be allowed.

The point is that you're a fool if you invest 4 millions a week in the youth camps.

4 millions per week? Did I say that? No...How can I earn 4m per week

I'm sure he meant 4M over a season or however long it takes

Still that money would be more wisely spent on/in your academy imho

post evidence for any and all assertions or they will be deleted. Suspicious transfers can be posted, but any assertions of cheating will be edited out.

I have talked about my wife having a team in the forums before...clearly it was no secret:

Yes, once I wanted to get a player my wife was selling so I asked admin directly and got their answer. 

Also we notified admin about our teams and recieved permission to both play in the same league. We have emails.

We never traded players

This is simply the case of a manager getting caught making an egregious transfer between teams that appear to be managed by the same individual using the tu quoque logical fallacy against his accuser in an attempt to avoid scrutiny.
 
If the timing of Cheater's accusations aren't suspicious, I don't know what is. I very very rarely make posts about cheating. Within 24 hours after making the first one in ages I suddenly become the accused? Then FC San Diego manager attacks me in USA chatroom after being inactive for years? It's pretty obvious what's going on here....

From now on I think I will delete any and all unsubstantiated accusations of cheating in the forum. I may even spend some time deleting old threads with such content.
