When I tried logging into my account today I'm just getting redirected back to the login page. No popup saying "incorrect username or password" like I get when I enter the wrong information. Anyone else having this problem?

This suggestion is directed at the GKO community as much as it is at Admin. At this point we basically set the norms of this silly game, if not the rules. It would be great if Admin would address this as well, but I'm not going to hold my breath wating.

We know that old players that have been capped on their NT cannot be released and often cannot be sold on the market even at 100G.

Therefore I sugest that - until this bug were fixed - managers should be allowed to make a "retirement team"...only used to purchase this kind of player. This should not be considered "cheating" as long as the transferred player is age 31 or over, has NT caps, and is sold for 100G on the market, and the retirement team is not used or played otherwise. I know this practice is widespread anyway, I just think it should be allowed.

Suggestions/Bugs / Save tactics bug

When I click "Save Tactics" normally, the result is "connection error"
 
This first happened late last season and I tried everything: restart browser, try different browsers, restart computer, etc.
Luckily, after a few days unable to save tactics, I inadvertently logged in with my VPN enabled and suddenly I could save my tactics!
I quickly noticed the VPN was enabled, so I disabled it and again could not save tactics. Enable the VPN and I can save tactics!

As far as I know no one else in my league has had this problem.

This continued through last season (what a pain in my arse!) but after new season reset everything started working normally again. I could save tactics normally until yesterday (26 May 2017) when it started happening again. Try to save tactics normally, I get "connection error" response and cannot save them. Only by enabling my VPN can I save tactics!!! I do not need to log in with VPN enabled, but must enable it to save tactics.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?

United States / No MOTS in Top Level...Revisited

This is the 5th season with a "no mots" rule in league matches and I think it has been going well. We have not witnessed our league winner made a mockery of in WCL group stage as they were in season 13 (when the USA lost its 4th WCL spot) and at least one USA club besides the league champion has reached the WCL group stage in this time, in part due to mots played in WCL qualifying rounds. However I am not the only member of the top level league, so it seems a good time to revisit this rule and hold another vote.

The Rule:
MOTS are not allowed in league matches except against any club that has won the league in the past 3 seasons or any team on the MOTS target list. Clubs found to have used MOTS in a Top Level league match will be placed on the league MOTS target list for 3 months. If a club plays another MOTS in a Top Level league match while it is on this list, the time is extended an additional 6 months for each additional infraction.

The Rationale:
1) The best teams get the WCL spots. We do not want mediocre teams hurting our national WCL ranking by using mots to nick the league title.
2) Final league ranking reflects each team's/manager's quality, making for the fairest result for all teams.
3) It makes the cup much more competitive and fun since many mots will be played there.
4) It frees up mots for clubs in WCL or WCL qualifying rounds


The poll will run through season 19. The option with the greatest number of votes wins. Repealing this rule requires a majority vote, so a tie will keep the rule in place.
Whatever the outcome, this issue will be re-visited in season 24.

just look at the transfers history and you will find a connection, there are more clubs which are created only for frauds for this five main clubs so ban ONE of them at least, just for example i would like to ban all of them but that is not possible, but at least ONE is necessary i think. Using an illegal mots in league play will result in a 6 month period on the mots target list. Any team with more than three infractions will result in a 12 month period on the target list.
 
First time infractions may be dealt with less harshly under certain circumstances. Requests for leniency may be made through USA chat.

CHEYENNE through 4 August 2021 (12 month penalty; next infraction is 24 months)

Since a couple managers have complained about the rule that was discussed and voted upon last season (and neither voted or discussed their feelings at the time), let's have another vote on this rule.

I think this rule is important because it ensures that the best teams and managers finish highest in the league:

Voting lasts until 12 October, approximately at the end of season 14
A 2/3 majority shall be required for this to be accepted by the league.

After a long discussion and democratic vote, a majority agreement made the top league results purely merit-based. THIS MEANS MOTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN TOP LEVEL LEAGUE MATCHES. The only exception will be playing mots against any team that either:
(1) is on the mots target list
(2) has won the league in the previous two (2) seasons.


If you have unused MOTS after being knocked out of the cup competition, please use them against any of these teams. Do not feel compelled to use your MOTS in this way, but be aware you will not appear on the list for using your MOTS against them while they are on the list.

Teams will be removed from this list on the date indicated if, and only if, the team refrains from using mots in future top level league matches, except against other teams on this list. No team will appear on this list for using mots in cup matches.

I have a unique proposal.

I have a low CA, high LA player that desperately needs playing time. (he is currently 3/10/3)
If you will take my player on loan, I will buy you tokens based on the number of competitive matches he plays at least 30 minutes in this season. This includes league, cup, and WCL matches. The number of matches I require for token payment depends on your training facility quality as follows:

Lowest quality training facility                        Number of competitive matches required for each 10 tokens*
Good or worse                                                              12*
Very Good                                                                    10*
The Best                                                                       8*
* assumes 120 credit coaches are used; add 1 for using a High Cost coach, 2 for medium cost coach, and 3 for low cost coach

Given there are 17+ league matches remaining in the season, it should not be impossible to play him in 20+ league and cup matches over the remaining course of the season. If he is repeatedly played, a club with The Best training facilities and coaches could feasibly earn 30 tokens (or 3 month premium if preferred) through this deal. Most other clubs can probably earn 20 tokens.

Also, I will count each 10 friendly/custom cup matches he plays in as 1 competitive match (regardless of training/coach quality) in case you are just short of the target!
I can purchase tokens for your team as soon as each target has been reached, or buy them all for you at the end of the season. Whichever you prefer.

How can the manage know the player's LA to this precision?

Fix loan system or get rid of it. Loan system shouldn't exist primarily for multi-account users!
