General Discussion(English Only) / Captain Problem

On the game manual it says that it is better if the captain is set to the player with a high influence. However, my player with the highest influence is only 16 years old. Should I make him captain, or a player with lower influence but more experienced? For now I haven't set him as captain yet. Thanks
