I know of course that this subject has been already proposed but I must insist in not let to other users check our tactics, it's unacceptable.

What for are we studing during hours new tactical orders and dispositions to our players if in some minutes and with 40 energy points a premium user can check everything about our tactics and matches.

In real football nobody can know the internal orders that the players receive in each match from their coach.

Neither let any user to see the position of each player in the field. In the real life nobody has a paper where we can see where is playing each player, but everybody can suppose that messi is playing as forward or lampard is playing as midfield. But if a team uses a very polyvalent player is difficult to know in which position is playing that polyvalent player. That should be an advantage for that managers that have polyvalent players, or that users that try putting a player in a different position for win tactical advantage.

If my next opponent see that I use to play with 3 forwards, he will put 3 central deffenders, of course. he can imaginate that if I use 3 players which best position is forward I am playing with 3 forwards but never see it in the match report because perhaps I am using one of them as right offensive midfield and that point changes all tactic disposition in the match, for say an example. Then, I lost the surprise factor.

Perhaps the best GKO skill is the tactical variety, but if anybody can check exhaustively each tactical movement that the users made in their matches, the game lost a lot of interest in my point of view.

So, I suggest to GM not let anymore to users check adversary tactics and orders please, thank you so much.

From watching a (real) football match I can easily see if a club is playing with 3 forwards or not. I can tell if one team is pressing the other or not. I can tell if one team is using man or zone defense. I can tell if one team is roaming all over the place or sticking to their position. I can tell if the defensive line is playing deep or is pushing up. I can tell if a team is playing attacking football or is "parking the bus". However, even an experienced scout cannot tell what kind of philosophy the manager took or whether the team was instructed to play more creatively or not, and this information should be omitted in every case. Sometimes managers reveal this during interviews but not usually. The key here is to have tactical versatility imo. Play with 3 forwards if you can get away with it, but have alternative formations and tactical combinations you can use, too.

However, I agree that it is too easy to see other players' game match tactics, particularly after the fact. The only way this would be possible in real life is if the game was televised (and could be recorded and re-watched), and only top level and cup matches are commonly televised. Otherwise, you'd have to send a scout or analyst to watch the game in person, which would need to be arranged before the match happens, of course. Therefore, I think match formations/tactical info should only be available ex post facto for top level, WCL, and cup matches, if at all. Otherwise, one should need to arrange to send a scout/analyst to a particular match before it happens in order to get this information. Alternatively, perhaps this information would be available while the match is actually happening, but not later.

You can imaginate all this things if you are very clever or you have tactical formation but not can read it as if the coach gives you everything written in a paper.

a valid point...maybe there should be a bit of uncertainty involved depending on scout/analysis level, similar to the uncertainty involved with stats reported in scout reports. However, it would be nice if manager skill could play a role here as well (like viewing a match for oneself rather than relying on a [low level] scout), but I don't see how that could work with existing game engine.

One solution might be to always show Attacking Midfielders (AM) - that are not also rated as forwards - who are being played in forward position in their AM spots rather than as forwards to other managers, except for those with high level scouts?
