Third, would you want foreigners voting your national leaders? I doubt it. This is particularly dangerous in relatively small nations who get <50 total votes for manager. For me, it is about keeping nations relevant, not keeping people out.

You know, admin implements this rule quite strictly in my country, at least among top level teams. We have had 4 or 5 out of 10 managers banned this season alone, all with foreign ip addresses and no detectable transfer cheating. If the rule is racist, take it up with admin. I just want them to either enforce it (equally for all nations) or get rid of it.

But there is a honest point to the community penalty as a non-native country specific language speaker (wow absolutely many awesome words in a row!) will not be able to contribute as much. But there is no rule saying one has to contribute to the national community.

Exactly...so you get privileges (the right to vote) that come with no responsibilities (honesty, national interests)? I am convinced that election rigging will happen (if it already hasn't) within the next few seasons with existing system. Nations quickly lose relevance...we might as well include fictional nations like Mordor or Narnia.

People, let's cut it out please, stick to the topic please.

Ologga, i know you feel that everybody points at you when people say something about it, but we must face 2 realities:

1- This is a rule, take it or leave it, you're playing legally but a lot of things changed after you started here. And i'm afraid we must adapt ourselves, in the same way we had to deal with premium features (as an example)... a lot of things that changed in 5 seasons, again, take it or leave it, it's up to you.
2- Are you aware that your behavior is quite strange among foreign users? Usually foreign managers aren't open to improve that country's strenght, they usually cares only on themselves. Somebody who doesn't even say "hello" to others (not even using english) is not qualified to manage a country's destiny, no matter how good his managerial skills are, because manage a NT requires feedback, not a one-man work.
To add, Brian "suffered" a foreign manager in NT already, something you didn't..... so he might have some reasons you don't even imagine.
