Penetrating a packed in defense

Brian Clough:
I'm set to play a bot team that has a 5-3-2 lineup and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on penetrating such a densely packed defense, aside from selecting players that will counter their tactics (probably zone) most effectively. This lineup is without wing players (aside from defenders) so I figured I'd try to work it down the flanks, but I wonder whether I should try to emphasize creativity, degree of attack, long shots, or something else? Does anyone have any advice?

Attack from both sides and long shots, having a good set piece taker can help you too!
