Author Topic: Squad Size vs. Coaches? (Read 4814 times)

Hi,
I have a squad size of 22 senior and 5 youth and I have five coaches.

1. I've seen a number of teams who have even more players than me, around 30 seniors and rest youths, but don't they also get only 5 coaches? Then how can one train the whole team using just five coaches if a coach can train only 5 players at a time?

2. Since players who have reached their LA can't gain skills from training, is it okay to train them without using coaches, so that I can assign the coaches to other younger players? Will this mean these older players' stats will decline faster? or will they be able to train without a coach, enough to maintain their stats? Of course, I intend on playing them quite regularly, but just remove coach from their training...

I have more questions but I can't remember them all now, will write more soon... Meanwhile, can somebody help me with these?

1. they can train more players, but it wont be that effective when training 5 or less players

2.yes these players who have reached their LA doesn't need a coach

I didnt find in the user manual the information where 5 players per coach is the most efficient. Where it is ?

Thanks for replying Gabrielis, but I must ask, have you tried this yourself... Because, the way training is described in the manual, older players deteriorate everyday, and need training to (partially) cancel out that deterioration... But, I may have understood wrong...

Also, another question I have is, What level of coaches do you have, 10,000, 100,000 or greater? I read somewhere that coaches above the 100,000 level are impossible to afford... I've just started out and have rubbish coaches atm, so how much time should I expect before I can afford the better 100,000 coaches?

It isn't in the manual, I think it is somewhere in the stickied posts in the forum... Perhaps, you could check the ones in Tips 'n Tricks and General Discussion...

Older players deteriorate only when they reached age 30 not before, so you don't need a coach if they reached their LA. I don't have older players to check if having a coach is worth to train with a coach, sorry.

In top divisions you may afford 700.000G coaches (their wage is about 45.000G/week), in lower divisions you can afford 100.000G coaches without problems, just make sure you have a couple of facilities that earn some money to cover their expenses, don't worry about them.

If you set up your player's training, you'll see that your coach decreases his workload if you set them up more than five players, you'll see it in training menu/coaches tab.

My trainers are not overloaded before having 11 players to train ( 10 is ok )

I know, they're "Ok", if you set them 5 they'll be "Proficiency"

i have tryed what?they don't get bonus in training so theirs stats goes down.i don't use coaches to players who has reached their LA

And I use 5 coaches cost 100k G each(im on top league). All depends on your strategy, atm i prefere spending money on stadium upgrades or so than hiring a better stuff

Thanks for the replies CarlosT and Gabrielis...

I think I'll do as Gabrielis does, and take the coach off my older players (I have two 31 yr olds)... There's no point in overloading coaches and reducing training efficiency for 5-6 players just to save some points off a 31 yr old...
