Players Salary
« on: January 18, 2015, 11:06:09 PM »
As you might now the new season has started and as usual  I have to deal with ton of unhappy players. Nothing special

However this player was a surprise for me, Why does he requested such a high salary?

Or is it normal such players to request wages like this ??

Thank you

It's normal. Your player must be CA6 (close to 7) or CA7, they ask 9k weekly.

Thank you for the reply

Yes he is Level 6 but what will happen when few of my players reach level 8 will the require my soul for wage ??

And one more question when I look at my teams salaries I think my players request more salary then other teams players do (with relatively same value) in my league different from team to team or I am just paranoid ?

Don't worry mate, it is happening with all players not just with yours :) it is normal for player to ask for bigger salaries, as they increase CA and experience

It's happening with me and two of my players who were earning around 2,000G per week before. Now they've developed into CA6-7 calibre players and demand over 9,000G per week.

Although one of them is having to wait for a new contract while I try to trim my wage bill.  :)

Don't worry, CA9 players rarely ask more than 11k, even if their exp is high, wages increases greatly when CA is close to 7, i have seen some CA10 players that requested more than 24k each week, glagly, mine didn't asked that much (yet), but don't worry, you can live with high wages, you only need to be prepared for it: improve megastore/bar/hotel and you'll be fine.

I am not premium user, and even with wages updated this season, i don't lose that much each week (i used to lose 150k last season, with players that came back from loan and a new player i hired i should be losing around 240k, and i am not considering friendly matches or activities each day), once league matches start i will surely have around 200k profit each week.

If you want some references, i have:

2 CA10 players
6 CA9 players
6 CA8 players
7 CA7 players
1 CA6 player
1 CA3 player

My expenses in wages are 261.141G each week. It might sound high, but after improving income facilities, it's not that much, i can say that my finances are controlled  :)

You only need to invest money on facilities, avoid hiring players paying ridiculously high wages (i have only one with them, the others have the wage they ask, not high wages for winning wage wars) and save some money for postseason, your club can be healthy if you prepare yourself for it   8)

hello, I also have almost same problem. however, I have two CA 7 players, both of them 21 y/o, that were asked their contract to be renewed:
the 1st is Teungku Sutedja (6639359) with value 604,265 and 3 star exp
the 2nd is Kidung Warobay (7093015) with value 599,266 G and 2 star exp

I thought they would ask similar salary, but the 1st asked 9,035 G while the 2nd asked 4,327 G. Do u have know why their asking salary were so different? thank u  :)

The wage formula is unknown,  we know some things based on our experience mostly.... I think your player didn't asked you 9k because the 2nd player's  level is lower than the first one, ay first sight one player has more skill points and more experience than the other, that makes his level higher..
But you should expect him to request a new wage next season

I think that players ask 9k+ salary when they are over 600.000 G in estimate value . If for example they are 599.999 G EV , they ask lower than 5k :)

True story :) I got a CA6 player that reached 602k ESV and he asked for 9k salary.

Players Salary
« Reply #12 on: January 30, 2015, 10:28:51 AM »
Hi,
I am playing salary cap type of games. i was off for a few years and i seem to be lacking a good way to analyze player values in relation the their salaries. I made a general research on google and this site came up as the one where experts could answer this type of questions.

i used back in the years to be able to get a faire value by using what cdm used to call PRM points. Calculating the PRM points per dollar spent was a very effective way to estimate a players value.

For any reason, the formulas i was usign then dont seem to be working anymore. the steals are getting way too many points and therefore guys with steals all come up with higher values. that is not untrue, but you dont want to end up with 25 points in steals and 1 in home runs and rbis.

Did someone here found a good way to estimate players values based on their stats? Somehow the formulas exist. they must use a very similar formulat to actually calculate salaries. many sites offering similar games come up with extremely similar salaries for each players, so there must be a logic behind the madness.

any info very appreciated

thanks in advance
