Player Appeances - Help
« on: December 31, 2014, 06:10:52 PM »
If you look at the history of a player... what do the numbers mean.

For example after every season a player has listed in his history the number of appearances ex: 5(8),  1(26), 26(4)..... etc..

Sometimes the number in the bracket is smaller and sometimes it is greater.

Can you help me.

It's just the matches where they came on as a substitute. The numbers not in brackets are the matches where they were in the team at the kick-off.

It can, if player plays only as a substitute it is normal the number in the brackets to be bigger than the other, it just shows that the player is not a first team player. Example from your numbers:

1(26) - 1 game as a first team player, (26) plays 26 games like substitute.
