So...is it just me, or did everyone elses players all of a sudden feel unhappy with their current wage? I renewed a few players contracts between mid and late season last season, for 5 seasons, and some of them, now on 4 seasons of course, unhappy with current contract. Went to renew one of them, wage went from 3k to 9k. WTH, they just signed last season, and now they want triple their wage.

You should be happy that you made them so fast. A wage is bonded strict to players quality. So they are much better now . Good for you, don' t you agree?

.....No.....they were already at 7/8 stars when they signed for 3k. Start of this season, several players "unhappy with current wage demand new," still 7/8 stars.

And even if there was that much of growth between mid season and beginning of this season, who would be happy that their player is demanding triple their current wage?!

Especially when they JUST signed that new 5 season contract halfway into the season last season?

Sorry man, but 3k for a 7/8 star player in not normal. The normal is more than 10k.....i understand that is a big change in your economical health, but this is the standard wage for such players. I have several players with more than LA6 and at the beginning of the season (even if they reached the 7th star in the previous season) they became unhappy and demand for more money....approx 4 times their previous wage!!

Every player whose CA increases wants more wage. I believe your players are continuously improving and that is why they demand more wage so often.

However,

I fink there should be penalty in terms of reduced players performance if he is unhappy.

Any CA7 player demands 9k as minimum, if they improve and are more useful to you, they wants more morey, sorry but good players are expensive, very good players are really expensive and superstar players are so expensive that you shouldn't have more than 3.

But it could be worst, just think about it: you can also pay ridiculously high wage for average players in trasnfer market or hiring a free player.

Not every CA7 player wants a 9K wage. And also CA6 player want a 9K wage sometimes.. Once a player his estimated value is more than 600K when the new season starts, he wants a 9k wage.

I have a CA7 player who's is 592K and he has a 3k wage. And I have a CA6 player who's value was 623K when this season started, and he was unhappy too and wanted a 9K wage. So once a player reaches 600k estimated value, he will ask a higher wage.

I agree that better players require a better wage, but I believe that the "jump" in wage is to big. When a player with a value of 599k requires a new contratc, he would ask something about 4.5K. But with a player of 601k, his wage shoots up, and becomes immediately +9k. I think this jump in wages is quite ridiculous

Yeah, I get it, better player wants higher wage. My beef is with the amount of time it took for them to ask for that better wage. Less then half a season they signed a contract, and now they want a new one. That's far too soon for a player that didn't increase all that much in ability to be demanding a new wage, for triple his current one.

If you are lucky and LA6 players don't reach 600k before they are 20 years old...They will keep a "low" wage.

I mean...i have some LA6 players who reached 600K when they were 18/19 years old...at the beginning of the season thay asked around 9k as new wage. On the next season (once they were 20 years old) their value dropped down to, for example, 589k.
Other LA6 players never reached 600k (they came from the academy when already 18 years old or not huge PR). Now thay have the same value than the other ones...but with 1/3 of the wage!

It also depends on exp, experience also increases your player's value. I have a DC who asked me 9k a season ago, he is 24 yo now.

Now you know what a big team feels, i had the same issue with 10 or 12 players when the new wage formula were added in season 7.

I am sorry, but your options are clear:

1) Do not give them a mew wage, and use them with a lower performance than they should.
2) Give them a mew wage, try to improve facilities to get some extra incomes.

This "problem" is same for all...

If you want to prevent paying big wages of LA 7+ players for 1 season when they reach around 580k value "stop" them with Mental trainings and next season give them new contract with 4k wage. I think that will work for players with 2-3 years remain contract

Oh, so a new wage formula was added? Did this extra expense come with an extra income too? A while a go I had made a comment about how your expenses keep rising and rising, but the sponsorship money you get always stays the same. Now they add a far more expensive wage, but still no new income?

About upgrading the facilities, how much money does that actually give you? Because to get them to the upper levels, you have to pay a lot, and your maintenance will go way up, so how long will it take to get that money back from that facility? Seems too much time for too much money to not gain that much money back.

You need to find the good size for your stadium accordingly with your average attendance...then improve your facilitis or the only way to keep sane your economy is selling players with higher wage....It is expensive, i know, but you need to obtain that your weekly incomes are bigger than your expenses...or you are doing it bad, in my opinion....anyway, you can also try to sell a good player each season to recover money, but in this way i don't know if you will grow as team...

In my case i improved almost all facilities to GOOD level (Bar, Hotel and mega-store) and as soon as possible i will increase also the museum.
in this way i raised my weekly incomes and also the grow rate of my club rating. Then i expanded my stadium up to 29000 because it was almost always full in the last season. In this way i have about 350k weekly expenses wages+manteinance) vs 150k incomes ( but i earn around 300k with just a home league match (stadium quality very good). So i am making money when i play the second home match and extra matches as cups, friendlies etc.

It is a long process to find the financial equilibrium, personally i fix my ojectives each season...a season i invest more in the facilities, the following season i try to buy better players to improve the team...the next season i make the balance and try to preserve the ratio income/expences by improving facilities or selling players and so on...At least this is my way to do it...

Yeah I figured I had to try and balance out my finances, I am increasing bar and hotel now, cost 1 million just to get them okay. I was hoping to get enough money to upgrade my youth academy to the best, but guess it's gonna take a longer while. siiiiiggghhhh.

I still think it's just a bit unfair that the sponsorship money doesn't go up at all while your expenses just keep going up and up.
