Role of Stamina?
« on: June 01, 2013, 02:12:38 PM »
I've got a question

What is the use of the skill "stamina" in gko? I know it is used to determine if the player is able to execute the "press more" and "more roaming" tactics, but has it any further impact?

There's no clear info about it.
However, i've noticed that teams with low stamina rates usually drop their performance after '60. I have seen many times that matches reduces their situations drastically after that moment, that usually happens when both teams have low stamina rates.
Also, more roaming is far more efficient in the last 30 minutes when your stamina rate is high.

And also, defenders especially central defenders have a tendency to get higher ratings in general with high stamina. And higher skill level as well. But I do not if this actually matters in the game engine simulator.

That's also what I have noticed. I think it's more likely to be the endurance of the players...

Stamina should be involved in phisical condition consumption during the game and his recovery during the nightly rest sinergically with the player's room. IMHO.

Like in boxing, if you go all out early, you get knocked out later? I've had games that were 0-0 after first half, end up winning 4-0, goals coming after 60. And as NT manager, I'm noticing a lot of players have very high skills for their position, but stamina at....6-7. So, if a team has all players with high skills, but no stamina...by the 2nd half they're not gonna be of much use.
