Does Friendly matches help increase the experience of a player? I noticed that the pre-season Friendly matches are not counted in the number of appearances in the History of a player. Clear it helps increase the abilities of a growing player, not sure about experience though.

Couldn't agree more with Carlos comments.

I want to believe that most of us think alike; that the game lacks support, that is buggy and new features and updates are required. However, we face a "mexican standoff" situation whereas neither the vendor (GKO owners/developers) or the users (us) will backoff; the vendor won't change the current situation because its making a profit from us, even if we do not purchase tokens or aren't premium users, they get a little bit of money from the ads banner in every frigging page that we click on (outside the forum, that is). Users won't stop playing because, heck, we can agree GKO  is the best online simulation soccer game available in the market right now (and can be addicting too). Unless we, the users, organize ourselves internally to do some kind of "strike" (ie. not log in for an entire day/week), there aren't any possibilities for a "change".

Only other option to get out of this mexican standoff situation is for an external event to happen, i.e. somebody purchases the GKO engine from the current owners and starts listening to the users; or a different game comes into the market stealing away GKO users...

Following this thread, I have a question regarding the use of potential ability points. What is the consensus preference regarding how to distribute any available points for key and secondary skills depending on each position?

For example, a DC player, is it maybe a good idea to grow some key skills (i.e. position, marking, tackling) beyond 15 (obviously, losing "growth" points) or stop training them when they reach to 15 and try to round up some other secondary skills (i.e. heading, jumping, strength, Pace/Speed)?

I have a MC that is still under training but not for much longer. Trying to decide if I should bump up some key skills (i.e. creativity, passing) beyond 15 or if I should focus on other secondary skills which are around 10-11.

Not sure if a skill on 10 is consider a low-rated skill...or 15 is the minimum level for a skill to be consider "he is good at" it.

Anyone? Any thoughts?

It depends on many factors, such as his LA, level of competition (10 might be Ok for national competition, but it's not enough at international level) , the tactic you use (it's not the same to play press more/zonal marking/more roaming than playing stand off more/man marking/stick to position). All i can tell you is that each position has some specific needs

Yo al fin subi el nivel de mi academia a Very Good. A ver que tal me va esta nueva temporada 13. Y a comenzar a ahorrar para el nivel maximo.

El mejor canterano que he obtenido es un 7/2...con academia Good.

Are you referring to Club Activities (i.e. the shop boot where you get some $$) or the Player Activity (where you can increase its stamina, improve its morale, etc)?

I've just opened a Small Boot in Club Activities and everything seemed as usual.

Admin may see it, but don't expect they'll do anything about it. Let's not forget this online game is a business after all, and no business will assign resources (say developers or money) to change something they can't profit on. Unless, of course, it impacts negatively those customers who actively invest in the business (ie. Premium users, Token buyers).

This is merely a guideline, something to help you understand which attributes are important for each player position according to the selected strategy. For example, for GK (goalkeeper), the most important attributes are marked as "A"; so when you are looking to buy or train one, you should focus on these attributes. "B" are less important attributes and "C" are the least important according to the creator of this file.

However, this guideline was created some time ago and based in a different game engine. The game engine has changed in the last couple of seasons so this guideline needs to be revised.  It is still useful though if you are new to the GKO world.
