Its a problem with the game cron. Training also haven't been updated, you will probably have everything right tomorrow.

This season i decided to save up to 2M in extra youth and pulled players, i got 1 LA8, 4 LA7, 1 LA5 and 1 LA4

I coldn't connect in the whole day using my smartphone ("cannot connect db" error), in fact i set yesterday's tactic 2 days ago but this morning i tought that NT matches weren't happening
Even now, i can enter the game using a notebook and Xbox One's browser, but not using my smartphone, weird....

Yes Spam, your analisys is certainly right, nobody asked what a new team should do, that's why ibdidn't commented that, i only answered how people succeed with academy and i gave my opinion (it mostly works as a slot machine, as you said).

Could you tell us how we can succeed in current GKO if most of us can not succeed throuth the academy, thanks!
Invest LOTS of money in token to pull extra youth each week and getting their reports inmediately.
Searching extra youth using G and waiting 5-8 weeks to get a report is a waste of time and resources right now.

Basically, transfer system is based in 2 different filters:
First, the game choses a "X" value that is used to determinate how higher must be a transfer fee to filter out other manager's offers amd then it compares wage offers to decide who takes the player. In your situation, your "X" value was 10%, but the system decided that the "X" value needed to be higher than 10, so you had to compete with other manager's offers, and the player picked the higher wage offer.
In other words, if you want to grab a player, you must offer the higher transfer fee and the higher wage as possible, sometimes you don't need to compete in both: If you want to avoid a wage war, you must offer far more than an extra 10% extra as transfer fee.

Free players are the living proof of abandoned the game is. Some of them are listed since season 14, nobody bid for them since then, they doesn't play for NT so there's no point keeping them in the game, they are just garbage in the game database.

It migth sound weird, but i think it is registration date: you have a clear example of it when a new season start, all teams have their season stats in 0, but positions are sorted based on registration date, older is first, newest is last.

Avg. Rate doesn't say much, when a team does bad games, all his players gets low rates, but a weaker team might play against bot teams and all his players gets higher rates, that doesn't mean that the high rates team is better.
Of course, i put an extreme example but i believe that my point is more or less clear.
Why macedonian manager doesn't pick your player? He surely have his reasons, you may share them or not, but people have different priorities in player development (and both players seems quite different).
Also, there is another thing you must consider and many times it is more important than 100k extra in est. Player value: communication.
This is a personal experience, when i had to pick players for a game, i always try to pick players playing in argentinian teams, and that is not because i'm racist or because i don't trust a foreign manager, it's because manage an NT with people living closer is a lot easier, specially when condition is compromised.
Matches in argentinian league ends at 23hs (server time), that is 20hs (argentinian time), if i need somebody from an argentinian manager, it is far easier to get something from him than a thai or any asian manager, why? Because i have his phone number, his facebook account added or simply because he is connected at similar times than me, sometimes i go to bed around 3 (server time) and i don't know what will happen with a foreign manager's player.
That doesn't mean i don't trust or i'm not open to work with foreign managers, but a trust relationship with a foreign manager (let's say, i know the player will be fit, i will remind him about that but i know i can count on that player) takes time and it's easier to work with somebody you know.
By the way, i have at least one player that i feel is better than others playing on his position in NT, but i think the other manager represents many managers so deserves respect, all i can say is have my player ready if he eventually decides to call him again.

CA5. GK limit for daily training is CA5.
It's not 5 actually... i don't remember if it was 5.2 or 5.4, but it is a bit more than just 5.

If i have to be honest, i don't even know if Sawada FC is a one manager team or a communitary account, created to farm youth player's experience in a low level league and WCC matches, i always had that tought about that team.
Just look at that team's trasfer story and tell me if it doesn't look suspicius....

Cheaters and admin are not the only responsable. Those who doesn't cheat but spend lots of money on ingame advantage are also guilty.
I am not against spending money to support a game, but spending lots of money just to get an advantage when the game is an anarchy? That's a different story. We made it this far because things were too easy for admin, i am absolutely sure that if honest people would spend few bucks or only the needed money (premium only maybe?), admin wouldn't be pleased with his incomes and maybe he would have done something.
But many people complains now, and you watch them selling many LA10 players, how many of these came without token? Blaming admin for allowing cheating is correct, but when you didn't care the results of the ingame advantage you bought or nobody considered the medium term effects or the advantage you bought, you eventually see the results.
And many people will now say "GKO will die without our support", well guess what guys, the game will eventually die, with or without your support, but thanks to many users it will die more rotten than it would if you would've stopped buying ingame advantage, you only made the death more painful.
I'm really sorry for watching you leaving Golex, but at least i have my mind calm, i always said that many people was taking the wrong direction.

I don't know if you read my previous comments, i wasn't against the rollback, i understand that in a "normal" game, your players are out of contract and you lose them, but considering that GKO is not "normal", the exception was needed.
However i must remind you that our managerial duties includes controlling our player's contract... sould you ask a rollback if:
You lose a match because you forgot to set the tactic?
Training update didn't happened one night?
You forgot to change a player's training a whole season?
You forgot upgrading a facitlity when league matches ended?
You forgot to pull youth players from academy?
And i could go on.... but in all of these situations, it's the same scenario for all.
Also, i must remind you that, even for a newbie who never saw UNH status before, the game gave him 3 SEASONS (more than a year) to check when their player's contract were expiring, GKO is a slow paced game, you have far enough time to realize where you are into, before you lose your players.
That's why i don't share your opinion.
