Good suggestion, but like other past good suggestion, it will be ignored. Some time ago I was thinking something similar, like a "single skill limited ability" instead of the actual global limited ability.
Both these ideas will solve also the problem that now great part of players is being skilled as an army of clones.

The weirdest part of this bug is not the bug itself, but the fact that game staff has been promptly alerted about that but they did nothing.

You are very lucky in Poland! In Italy there are lots of people using tokens to get high LA youth players, also in minor leagues. Some of them draw 3 youth/week until they find a full range of 7 LA8/9/10. In the next seasons you will have to manage them in WCC!
