Silly Season and Christmas Day at the same day is not a great combination to say to least... :p

I tried my best today, but due to lack of time I couldn't go for every player I wanted to.
Still managed to pick up a great striker and just before dinner also a new goalie, so I won't complain.
Found one AML I really liked, but someone put in a higher bid at the very last second, too bad.

Other teams in the league were not that active today / or couldn't get a player for the right price.
The colondavid team got two nice players to strenghten his midfield, but I think we can all agree that SK Vard did a great job by getting four new players. Looking forward to yet another new season, good luck to all and goodnight for now!

I have some money to spend, but only when the right player comes along I'm willing to spend that money.

At the moment I'm looking for a new GK and to strenghten my AML with an extra player.
Got a lot of youngsters on the way that could be ready to play within one of two seasons, so I don't want to spend money on a player now when I've talented youngters on my team already. I'm interested in seeing how they develop within the next two seasons.

How about you guys, are you looking to strenghten your team with one or two players during silly season?

Veldig fornøyd med ham som ny spiss!

I did need to pay a lot of money for him, especially salary, but I feel that Christen Bernardsson is worth that. He could prove to be a very important asset for my team for years to come. Let the silly season continue!

And Merry Christmas to all!

It has been a great season so far. Unfortunately my MK team isn't consistent enough this season. We got some great victories against SK Vard and Brummington, but also dropped a lot of points against relegation candidates. My favorite for the title would be Brummington. The experience of manager and team should be about enough to secure the title. But also a rebuild Vålerenga is still very much in the title race. And I wouldn't suprise me either if Sjølies, SK Vard or Kjappfotkam in the end would end up with the title. Looking forward to this season ending! Good luck to all five!

After an awful start of the season, FK Mandalskameratene finally got things back on track. The goal now is trying to secure that 3rd place behind the two most consistent teams this season, Brummington and Kjappfotkameratene. These two teams will also battle for the championship, with Kjappfot catching a break tonight, grabbing a very late and very lucky victory against solid SK Vard-Haugesund.

It seems that things finally fall into place for MK, scoring a lot of goals lately and some exciting youngster knocking on the door for the first team. Playing Brummington in the next round of the cup will probably prove to be a bridge too far, but also an interesting testcase for youngsters like Óskar Guðjónsson and Christian Elmersen. As mentioned earlier, the main goal for the remainder of the season will be securing that 3rd place in the league. I'm looking forward to an exciting ending of the season!

FK Mandalskameratene found the way up again after a disappointing start of the season. Dispite some key players being out injured, MK managed to fight their way up the table. Some interesting youngster are looking the break into the first eleven. They will be given some valuable playing time this season already, although most of them will not be considered starting before next season. Interesting to see how things will develop and whether or not Lordaust list will indeed be the top 8 teams for the seasons to come!

Well well well, 3 games into the season, not a single goal scored and I also conceed a late goal from Brummington in tonights game... I really start the hate this game and its unrealistic turn of events. Thinking about quiting, 'cause there isn't much fun continuing playing a game like this.

Suggestions/Bugs / Re: [BUG] Problem with renew contract for old players
« on: November 21, 2012, 04:52:50 PM »
Happened to me as well to day. I renewed the contracts of 2 players who were 30+ and they both agreed on signing a new deal 500G lower then there last salary. But after renewing the contract, they still get the same salary, only the length of the contract has changed...

I agree with Drahcir, same story here with a fine youth academy...

Satisfied with MK's excellent run near the end of the season.
Hopefully we can carry this run on to the next season and challenge the top teams again.

Congrats to Brummington for winning the title and Vålerenga for qualifying for the WCL.

Hope to see you all again in season 7!

Awful result in the cup for Norwegian football if you ask me...
Kjappfotkam deserved to win, but for some reason Sagbruket won in a very one sided match.

Unfortunately Sagbruket will have no chance qualifying for the group stage of WCL.
Which means Norway miss out on a lot of points Kjappfotkameratene could have captured for us.
Hopefully Brummington and Vålerenga could do a decent job for us in the WCL next season.

Congratulations to Sagbruket for winning the cup though.

Congrats on a well deserved title Lordaust!

You'll secure that win tomorrow, I'm sure of that.
Well done, an excellent season in which you dominated.

Looking forward to next season already, with my team performing better every match.
Great 0-4 victory at Vard last game and facing Kjappfot in the semies of the cup now.
Hopefully I can keep this streak going and perform a little bit better overall next season.

Annoying, irritating and arrogant? Not at all! ;) I find it very interesting to read, with some topics that really could make a difference during a season.

That flow you're talking about, I really believe that is true. Last season we often won close games with a one goal difference, keeping the flow going. While this season, everything seems to fall the other way. Still some difficult games ahead, so MK isn't out of the dangerzone just yet.

Simply not my season. That can be the conclussion with 10 games remaining. Last nights match against Brummington was illustrative for my whole season. Playing a solid game, but not able to come away with even deserved point. The lack of goals is starting to become really frustrating, since it seems that I do manage to create enough chances. Any how, MK will just need to play out the season, avoid relegation and try to make a nice run in the cup, that will be the goal for the remainder of the season.

Brummington will become (well deserved) champions again, while Vålerenga, Kjappfot and dark horse SK Vard will battle for 2nd place.

Apparently I can't score any goals any more. Despite creating enough chances...

One of the most annoying 'bugs' in the game, which makes this a very unrealistic game sometimes.

I know, already missed him against Bermuda. He was the one who should score at least 1 goal for the U21-team.

Hopefully he will be healthy again before too long.

No, that doesn't seem to be the problem. Almost every player can play at his natural position at the U21-team. And the tactic I believe is just fine, I'm satified with the amount of chances created. Only problem is that nobody seems to want to put the ball in the back on the net...

Dreadful start for the U21-youngster. Losing against Belgium in an evenly contested game, OK.
But after dominating against Bermuda we are still on the losing side, unbelievable and kind of an annoying GKO habit too...

Vålerenga Oslo and The Devils are definitely huge outsiders for the title this season. They are not participating in Europe, which means they can keep their players condition up easier. FK Mandalskameratene, Brummington and Kjappfotkameratene will most certainly feel the consequences from a long campaign in Europe, making it unable to line-up there strongest eleven every match.

Sjølies FK had a poor start of the season, but they will climb up the table as the season progresses. Any dark-horses, like MK was last year? Perhaps the current league leader SK Vard or maybe recently promoted Frøystad FK? It's going to be an interesting season, no doubt about that! :-)

What is going to happen to the FC Silvatores team, since the manager isn't active for over 3 months now and the team only has 7 (!) players on the roster...

Det er veldig surt! Utrolig å se hvilke masse penger spillerne ble solgt.  ::)

Hi all,

I just been voted the new Norwegian U21 manager. It's a huge honour and I'm looking forward to the challenge. But I also need your help, since I can't scout all the leagues for promising youngsters from Norway. So if you have an U21 Norwegian player on your team or you know someone else who has, please do contact me them by sending me an IM with a link to the players profile!

Thank you so much for your help!

Kind regards,
Ole Gunnar

Thank you all! It's a huge honour to be the next U21 manager. Looking forward to the challenge and hopefully we'll enjoy a lot of success in the next two season. Everyone who thinks he has a quality youngster that could be an addition to our U21 squad, please contact me. I'll also be searching and checking out Norwegian youngster in the next couple of days and hopefully announce my first list of U21-players next week. :-)

In the end I managed to pick up two youth internationals (a Swedish MC and a Icelandic FC), both for 433.333. Two players who add some more depth to my team on the positions I needed to strenghten the most, so I'm happy. Don't really know if I paid the right price for those two, but I don't really care either, since it's "sillyseason". ;-)

Unfortunately I couldn't sign the Norwegian international Kåre Normanssen, which was also was on my list. But that is also part of "sillyseason", miss out on a lot of players you would like to add to your team. ;-)
