*based on posts made here (http://forum.gokickoff.com/index.php?topic=7723)

The rules
- Easy tackling only! Using default tackling will give a "yellow card" warning; do this a 2nd time during the tournament a second "yellow card" warning will be issued, and a 1 goal penalty will be assessed in the match. If "hard" tackling is used, it counts as a "Straight red card". If a second "red card" is received during the tournament, it amounts to a 2 goal penalty and so on.
- No more than 2 players aged 22 or more may start a match. A 3rd such player may be subbed on after half time (45') but no more than 3 may play in a match at any given time*. The first additional overage player that is used will result in a 2 goal penalty** and a warning. After that, using additional overage players will result in forfeiture of the match and a "red card" that may jeopardize the manager's ability to join future friendly tournaments. You are responsible for checking your opponent's lineup. Report infractions by posting in this thread.
- Matches are held in the larger stadium of the two competitors. If there is no difference in stadium size, then the one with higher quality gets the match. if the stadiums are the same size and quality, then it will be randomly assigned. If a match is played in the smaller stadium due to error, a "yellow card" warning will be issued.
- During knockout rounds, a draw counts as a loss for the team with higher club rating (i.e. more established teams are expected to win)
- If you accept a friendly match with a club other than your assigned competitor, or fail to arrange/accept a friendly invitation, then it counts as a forfeit (loss) with a 3 goal penalty**, and a "red card" issued to the team failing to arrange the match in a timely manner. Teams can accept the forfeit as early as 11 hours before match start time (8.5 hrs prior to tactics timeout) by posting their situation in the thread any time after this deadline so they may arrange an alternate friendly match, so make your friendly arrangements EARLY. If nothing is heard from you by 2.5 hrs prior to match start time, the it is assumed you have forfeited the match.
-Accumulating 2 "red cards" or 5 "yellow cards" through the duration of a tournament will result in responsible club being DISQUALIFIED and not being approved for the following season's friendly tournament. Also any team that unilaterally withdraws from the tournament will jeopardize their ability to join other friendly tournaments/mini-leagues in the upcoming season!

* automatic substitutions made due to injury do NOT count toward this.
** goal penalties are accrued to goals scored tally as negative goals (goals are not awarded to opponent for YC infractions while 1 goal is awarded for RC infractions), which may result in a negative GS

Tiebreakers for teams level on points:
1.   Head to Head result
2.   Goal Difference
3.   Goals scored
4.   Club Rating (lowest advances)

Warnings issued:
Manchester of the South - YC
New Breed FC - RC
Penguin - RC

Remember, if you have attempted to arrange your scheduled match without response, you can force them to forfeit by reporting it here any time after 8.5 hours prior to match start time. If no report is made, I can only assume it is a double forfeit, as happened today. Also, double check your players' ages!

I send a friendly request to Thegunner FC yesterday and the manager still has not accepted. Now there is 1 hour left before match timeout, so this is a forfeit according to rules?
 ::)
Now I will try to find a new friendly match.

ohhhhh don't forget friendly is on wednesday!!!! :-X

due to time difference, that is Tuesday night for USA managers for matches arranged by USA managers; next match is Friday night for matches arranged by USA managers. Matches held in Bermuda or Bolivia stadiums (when these managers arrange the matches) are much later

If New Breed has not accepted by 16:00 GMT (11 hrs before match start time), you can report this anytime after then and they will have to forfeit, so you have time to find another friendly if you like. I type this at 15:27, so if they haven't responded in the next half-hour or so, make a new post.

*****UPDATED*****

Warnings issued
New Breed FC - 2nd RC for failing to accept friendly invitation
Thegunner FC - YC for failing to use easy tackling

Remember, top two finishers from each group have double elimination. Losses will result in the team moving to the Consolation Bracket.

Don't forget, in knockout rounds, a draw is won by the club with the lower club rating. Also, be sure to check your opponent's stadium size to make sure matches are held in the larget of the two.

Good luck to everyone!

Yes Perrito - I kinda like the idea of making a youth minileague with similar rules (easy tackling, no more than 2 or 3 overage players, etc. I'm not sure how it might work once cup competitions start, but we'll figure it out. I'd like to get started by 17 December, if possible.

Perito
I know but if 16:00 GMT he is not accept I don't have time to do anythink g Coz I'm working, but it's ok I don't have to worry about it.  ;)

First, the rules only stipulate this 8.5 hrs in advance of the match time. You and SWAGGA have the same capacity stadiums, so there is no reason why it can't be held in SWAGGA stadium. Thus Whiskeysour has until 03:30 UTC to send you a friendly request. So check again then.

Past that, you can accept friendly requests until at least 18:30 UTC, but you cannot make them for this week's friendly after 00:30 UTC. That gives you 15 hours that you can accept a friendly request in another nation whose start time is later than ours.

I would recommend posting a request for friendly match in other nations' chat rooms and in the forum. Most other nations match time is later than USA, so you have a good chance of getting a request even after our normal match time (03:00) has passed. Argentina match time, for example, is 21:00.  You can find a match if you try I think, just remember you have to accept another manager's request for this week's fixture after 00:30.
 ;)

Can you elaborate by what you mean by
This is reason of us to leave. 1 not honest 2 cheatting 3 not fun.

1) I'm not sure how honesty figures into this. Who lied to whom and when?
2) If cheating happened, it should have been reported. Today you reported Lubricants' use of a single overage player, which easily could have been an honest mistake. Don't be upset...you won the match due to a 2 goal penalty. But now Atama and Rockville both want to withdraw, causing the consolation brackets to be discontinued. Make no mistake - had these managers not withdrawn, the consolation bracket could have continued.
3) How not fun? Please tell me how to make it more fun...one thing I will change next season is that friendlies must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.

Remember:
So far this season we have had 10 forfeits out of 36 matches scheduled (28%). Half of these involved four of you and your friends' teams. Three of the remaining 5 were due to just one team - New Breed FC. As for the other 2, it appears that both Hibury and SWAGGA were both unaware there was a consolation bracket, thinking they were knocked out all together after losing in the winners bracket...an honest mistake, I think.
To compare, last season we had just 7 forfeits out of 44 matches (16%): 5 by just one team (MAN) who withdrew early in the group stage

:(  :( I'm very sorry with Dong-Munag I've just notice that I  forget to put easy tackling, so I'm playing this match with normal tackling, but I can't changed them now cause match is playing, wat can i do?  :'(  :'(

Because there was a consolation round when the schedule was originally made, you two were not scheduled to play until 10 Dec.

So just play again next week. Espada and I are doing something similar.
