14. Finance
It is important for you to always make good financial decisions. A negative cash balance will result in a higher chance of your club going bankrupt. (If your club goes bankrupt you will have to start the game all over again).
It doesn't say how much though. I ask because I put a bid on a player earlier in the day, before youth camp payments were due. So I'll be in the negative by almost 100,000g. And I have 2 away league games in a row.

I see...so it's not as I had first thought. I thought the quality was dependent on your rank in the country your actual camp is in. But it depends on your global rank as well? Well, that's a disappointment. I thought when this youth camp thing came out the purpose of not showing you which country has the least youth camps was so someone can go in there and get good youth pulls, but with the dependency on your world rank too...that makes it pretty much as you say, pointless. Siiighhhh.

Does anyone invest that much money into them?
Does the quality of the youth player you can get from one of your camps depend on how good your academy is?
And has anyone pulled anyone that they would actually use for their first team? After 5 pulls, the best players I've gotten were with a Potential rating of 6 stars, only twice, the rest 4-5. I'm only first place in investment in one of my camps, and haven't pulled anything greater then a 5 potential star rating player.

Also has me wondering, did they change rate of injures? I've pretty much played with hard tackling up till now, and only this season did I get a player injured everyyyyy match so far. >=O

Heehhhhh.....I was gonna change tackling to normal for my last league match but forgot, annnnddd another player gets injured. 10 days, though I suspect the time would have been longer if I hadn't recently ugpraded my physio by a level right before. Siiiighhh

Yeah I figured I had to try and balance out my finances, I am increasing bar and hotel now, cost 1 million just to get them okay. I was hoping to get enough money to upgrade my youth academy to the best, but guess it's gonna take a longer while. siiiiiggghhhh.
I still think it's just a bit unfair that the sponsorship money doesn't go up at all while your expenses just keep going up and up.

Oh, so a new wage formula was added? Did this extra expense come with an extra income too? A while a go I had made a comment about how your expenses keep rising and rising, but the sponsorship money you get always stays the same. Now they add a far more expensive wage, but still no new income?
About upgrading the facilities, how much money does that actually give you? Because to get them to the upper levels, you have to pay a lot, and your maintenance will go way up, so how long will it take to get that money back from that facility? Seems too much time for too much money to not gain that much money back.

I don't know about that...both players are now 21 and 22, signed a 5 season contract some time last season, both wages were of 3-4k. Start of this season, both players were unhappy with current contract, both players wanted 10k wage now.

Did anyone else have a player injured for every game played so far this season? 2 centrbacks out 20+days, striker and winger out for 18 and 19 days, one centerback injured in friendly, next one injured in the league game after the friendly, and the next 2 injuries occurred int he next league game after that one. The helllll.
I do play with hard tackling, so question, what does everyone else play with, normal or hard? And if playing with normal, how big of an impact would that be to the defending?

Yeah, I get it, better player wants higher wage. My beef is with the amount of time it took for them to ask for that better wage. Less then half a season they signed a contract, and now they want a new one. That's far too soon for a player that didn't increase all that much in ability to be demanding a new wage, for triple his current one.

.....No.....they were already at 7/8 stars when they signed for 3k. Start of this season, several players "unhappy with current wage demand new," still 7/8 stars.
And even if there was that much of growth between mid season and beginning of this season, who would be happy that their player is demanding triple their current wage?! Especially when they JUST signed that new 5 season contract halfway into the season last season?

So...is it just me, or did everyone elses players all of a sudden feel unhappy with their current wage? I renewed a few players contracts between mid and late season last season, for 5 seasons, and some of them, now on 4 seasons of course, unhappy with current contract. Went to renew one of them, wage went from 3k to 9k. WTH, they just signed last season, and now they want triple their wage.

As things stood, he won, I won, I'm 3 points back last game of season, both have goal difference of 117. And wouldn't hard tackling increase injury chance of opposing players? O:

So anyone else have this problem recently? Four of my starters are out through suspension/injury for the Cup final. My backup for both the positions, which were playing this last league game, got injured and banned. I'm playing the cup final minus 4 starters, and minus 2 backup for them. Starting centerback injured, backup centerback banned, starting striker injured, have 3 good strikers, but I always sub one out during the game, starting right mid injured, backup right mid injured...
I'm guess my MOTS would go to waste hear assuming the league champion still has his for this cup final.

« on: November 27, 2013, 05:59:27 AM »Don't teams all try harder against a good team? =P Didn't a manager from Real Madrid once complain that the teams in the league try harder against them then they do against Barcelona? =PIf someone has had 15 MOTS used on them in one season, they have a right to complain. It's not fair and it's not right.
I don't have a strong opinion for or against MOTs, I used one against the other strong team in my league, at his stadium, he used his, lost 1-0. I have one more remaining and will use it in the cup final against that same team. I do think the strength is...O.o
Another team in my league, at his stadium, beat my team 5-1 using Mots. Post match both of us had player ratings at 3 stars, and performance ratings same, I forgot how much, 4 and a half or so. So I was just thinking....how the hell did I lose 5-1.
I investigated the team a bit because they use MOTs against me, but not against the other strong team in my league. They both have a similar IP address, except for the last 3 numbers I can't see because they are starred out...and yes, I say this because I'm 3 points behind 1st place only because of that one extra loss against the other team that used MOTs against me. =P
I haven't really been in the..uh...what is it..WC? Champions league or whatever, so I can't say anything about that, but I think that a lower class team in it that uses it against a big team would be very likely to happen. Everyone says that's too much of an advantage, I guess it might be, depending on what the MOT's does to a team.
